We do not just

build boats.

We engineer specialized maritime tools for the toughest coastal demands. From our shipyard at Hitra, Skarsvaag Boats delivers uncompromising engineering in marine-grade aluminum and HDPE.

Our mission is crystal clear: To maximize your operational uptime and ensure crew safety under extreme conditions.

Tradition meets technology.

Our story began with Kristian Skarsvaag in 1967. Today, the second generation continues our proud coastal heritage and craftsmanship – now combined with modern marine technology.

We know that no two operations are the same. Therefore, every single vessel is custom-built in close collaboration with the client. By uniting generations of experience with advanced design, Team Skarsvaag delivers unique workboats where extreme durability and practical functionality always go hand in hand.

  • We specialize in vessels made from Premium 5086 Marine Grade Aluminum and HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene). These materials are selected for their extreme tensile strength, fatigue resistance, and minimal maintenance requirements over time.

  • Yes. We utilize our proven V-hull designs for optimal seakeeping, but everything above the waterline is highly customized. Motorization, crane capacity, deck equipment, and wheelhouse sound insulation are tailored to fit your specific operational reality.

  • Safety is our foundation. All our commercial vessels are built and engineered in strict compliance with the "Nordic Boat Standard for commercial vessels under 15 meters", and are delivered complete with an approved vessel instruction manual.
