Your vessel is a tool for production. Our service department at Hitra delivers heavy mechanical and technical expertise to ensure your fleet is always operational. With our own dry docks and unrivaled lifting capacity, we handle everything from routine maintenance to complex refits and emergency repairs.

Unrivaled lifting capacity
We have the infrastructure for the heaviest lifts. Our facility is equipped with a massive travel lift with a 420-ton capacity (up to 15m beam) in our own dock, as well as a dedicated 35-ton lift (5m beam) for smooth handling of smaller workboats.
Service agreements & field service
Preventive maintenance is the best insurance against breakdowns. We enter into fixed service and maintenance agreements with shipping companies and aquaculture operators. The work is carried out either in our modern halls at Hitra, or out in the field at your location.
Complete technical expertise
Our technicians are highly trained in troubleshooting and repair. We work closely with market-leading equipment suppliers to deliver fast and precise diagnostics on engines, propulsion lines, and advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Services Overview
What we do:
Docking and Lifting: Safe lifts up to 420T (+10%). (Note: Lifting with the 420T requires a submitted docking plan with weight specifications and a signed service agreement in advance).
Hull and Surface: Professional washing, cleaning, antifouling, painting, and surface treatment of steel, aluminum, and HDPE.
Mechanical and Engine: Service on vessels and equipment, preservation, engine replacement, and advanced diagnostics.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics: Troubleshooting, repairs, new installations, and customization of deck equipment and cranes.
Retrofitting: Customizations and upgrades of existing vessels for new operational requirements.
