The Skarsvaag 1180B takes the success of our smaller bow ramp models and scales it up to a heavy-duty, professional intervention vessel. With a length of almost 12 meters, a 5.9-meter long front deck, and inboard waterjet propulsion for extreme maneuverability, this is the ultimate tool for coastal logistics, port authorities, and demanding construction work.

Configuration and Systems

- Hydraulic bow ramp and a 5.9-meter front deck with heavy-duty lashing points.
- Tiltable wheelhouse for major engine operations, as well as a separate entrance to the engine room behind the wheelhouse for daily inspections.
- Wheelhouse interior clad with Fjordpanel and heavy sound insulation (under 70 dB during operation).
- Pantry with a sink, kettle, and refrigerator.
- Flush hatch in the foredeck for the thruster compartment and a 500-liter fuel tank.
- The vessel is configured with inboard motorization and waterjets for superior power and precision in shallow waters.
- Standard configuration example: Iveco FPT C90 620 with 580 HP and Doen DJ152 waterjet (Cruising speed: 26 knots / Top speed: 32 knots).
- Other engine and propulsion alternatives (including propeller systems) are available upon request.
- ZipWake fully automatic interceptor system and thrusters (electric or hydraulic).
- Recessed side opening on the starboard or port side for smooth boarding.
- Hydraulic capstan, anchor winch, and heavy-duty LED lighting packages.
- Heating/defroster systems from Webasto (5KW) and Defa shore power package.
- Navigation from Raymarine and complete safety packages in accordance with regulations.

Hydraulic Bow Ramp & Deck

The integrated bow ramp provides an enormous clearance of a full 1.8 meters. Combined with a clean 5.9-meter front deck and a deck load capacity of 1000 kg, this delivers superior logistics for heavy equipment, machinery, or rescue gear directly to shore.

Extreme HSE & Comfort

The aluminum wheelhouse is equipped with a galley (sink, refrigerator) and is heavily soundproofed. With a guaranteed noise level below 70 dB during operation, a safe and rested crew (up to 5 people) is ensured throughout long, demanding shifts.

Waterjet & Tiltable Wheelhouse

Propulsion is secured by inboard motorization coupled with waterjets (e.g., Iveco 580 HP / Doen DJ152). This provides massive power and a top speed exceeding 30 knots. To ensure optimal service access and reduce downtime, the entire wheelhouse is tiltable.
